Help to period correct PORSCHE script

    Hi Guys

I building a VW t1 earlybay panelvan to promote my new parts shop
I will use the van at shows etc

The van is good on its way
But my problem is the 1971 period correct door factory script

I have looked everywhere even Curth´s 108 pages of period racing pics
    I know porsche used them
but does anybody have a picture of such van or other ones the used
but from the period late 60 / early70`s

I have seen various version of the split t1, but the script isent the same

I have attached the Schuco model that gave me the inspiration to the project

    Regards

    Marek

    Thanks carl

this is the one I am looking for

but what does it say on the doors

the big PORSCHE script on the side is no problem

what I am looking is the script / set up
    that Porsche used in 1971

all this Dr ing dipl cf Porsche ... Zuffenhausen, Stuttgart
I am sure they dident used "AG" in the end as showen on the model cars

maybe the script /set up is shown on some internal pappers ,letters, brochures ..Milou

The version that Raj likes is contained in the original file for the door, if you don't have the digital tools to extract it, here it is also:

    Marek,

Bear in mind that you can not use "Porsche" anywhere in your business name. On the 356 chat list, Al Zim wrote at length about the serious legal problems he had with the Porsche lawyers for having the word Porsche in his business name. Porsche threatened to sue him back to the Stone Age unless he ceased and desisted.

You might very well get in trouble with Porsche for implying that you are a part of their organization by way of your "tribute" van with your business name on the side of it somewhere. I'm no lawyer and far from one but you might be wise to check on this if you haven't already. I hope that I'm wrong.

    Bon chance!

    Thanks for the concern Neil

I will not put my name on the bus, only the Porsche script and door script
and the Porshce name is not a part of my company name
I will only use the bus a a promotion eye cather on treffen etc
but I know they have a army of lawyers so I am aware

I have a bit doubt when they change the name from dr ing.... [B]KG to AG
as said I want the script period correct for the year 70 / 71 the build of the bus

    Thanks Raj
    and Manuel

this gives an idea of the finish van
the van is sandblasted and bodywork is in progress

still have a bit of doubt regarding the door script
and the Brumos Bus script i think looks a bit to high tech for 1970 period
any information of this would be helpfull

    Regards

    Marek
