    Thumbs up Kundensport Open House

The Registry and Kundensport have been planning this for awhile and finally all the schudules have been worked out so here it is straight from our own John Dilger.......

The Early 911S Registry and Kundensport are planning an Open House at their location in Camarillo on Saturday, Oct. 30. The address is 3968 Camino Ranchero Road. The day will start at a meeting point in the San Fernando Valley (to be selected), a two hour drive to their location, presentations from their people and a catered lunch with beer and wine. They will have several cars on display, including Ed Palmer's 1969 911T that was redone into an ST type of car.
We will get to the shop at 11:00. At that time the caterer will be set up to serve soft drinks, gourmet and decaffeinated coffee and will have a cash bar for beer and wine. We will have some time to look over the shop and the projects in progress before lunch. During this time, the guys at the shop will each do a short presentation:

Ed will talk about paint and body work.
Aaron will explain MFI tuning and adjustment.
Mike will go over basic maintenance for an early 911
Hans will go over the history of a 917 chassis that they are working on.

Lunch will be served between 12:30 and 1:00 pm and after lunch, you can hang around, continue on to Ventura, or be on your way home. Lunch will consist of Grilled Tri Tip of Beef, Fusill Pasta with a Chicken Brest and Porcine Mushrooms, Tossed Garden Salad, Grilled Vegetable Medley and Freshly Baked Rolls.
We will have to limit this to the first 40 people that sign up and it will be for Early 911S Registry Members and their significant others. The cost will be $20.00 per person, to help cover the cost of the lunch and payment can be made through Paypal. Send you payment to the Early 911S Registry's Paypal account at payforit@early911sregistry.org. Note on the Payal form that this payment is for the Kundensport Open House and the names of the people attending. Payment must be received by Oct. 25.

Kundensport will donate and auction off a pair of 906 doors for the Roger Grego Cancer fund. Please come prepared to bid. Any questions, email me at johndilger@aol.com or call me at 714-235-4981.

The following three web sites will give you more information about Kundensport:

    Hey guys,

John Dilger has said the registration response for this event has not been great....

I know we just had the track day, and this weekend a lot of you are going to Solvang... However, we need to know if we will have our 40 person head count for the caterers....

We just went through allot of last minute entries for the track day...

SO PLEASE, if you are going to attend our drive, luncheon, and shop tour send in your entry to John ASAP

    Thanks from the Registry

    Exclamation

    OK local gang,

Another reminder before our board temporarily goes down this evening....

Solvang has past, and I hear very successfully...

John Dilger has sent out email notices to all local members.

The time has come to sign up for this very cool drive/shop tour/luncheon event....

We still need a caterers head count.

    Cheers,

    The Registry

What is the current count? It will still happen if there are not 50?

My Dad and I are curious about the route. Where is the meeting point? Will there be an email of the route instructions?

Any further word on the status of this event?

It's a decent haul for me from the desert...

I hope this happens - I'm looking fwd to it.
