    Inaugural Sydney 101010 concours

Well, you never would have guessed who I met at North Head(Sydney) yesterday - someone from Florida or England ... or even Le Mans ...
He was in charge of being Chief Honorary Judge,so I thought it may have been someone very important !
I reminded him loudly that the last time I saw him race here was in a Tasman Dino at the old Warwick Farm circuit in January 1969 and he brought the typical UK weather with him as well !
The concours was held in excellent spring weather in the background of a very large old church seminary.Unfortunately there were no early 911s but a lone 356 speedster to represent Porsche.
A good mix of classic show cars and also a lot of vintage/veteran bikes were on show.
My car of the show was a Bugatti 57 Ventoux in black/yellow.
Kent Moore has said he would like to see a US group come for a holiday here and this could be a Sydney highlight.
    Pics following.

    Cheers,
    Dennis.

    1971 2.2 911 S - now back in the UK - sob!
1975 Carrera Targa (ROW) - missed.

The DB is sweet. What did they have in the 100 Years of Alfa display?

    Nice event, nice location.

    Mike,
I believe the DB was a replica, albeit a rather convincing one to my untrained AM eyes.
The Brabham is very real, though !
I could find only one other Alfa - a very nice ex Cal car in LHD.
    See pics.

    Cheers,
    Dennis.
