    Cars to Buy NOW ?

The Car Market is ****e !
For Most "Play Cash" is in short Supply !
Great Cars are Popping Up left&right !
What is your idea of the Car to Buy NOW for Potential Upside over the next 10yrs?
I know the Right answer is "The One you Love"
And I know that the Word Car & Investment don't belong in the same Sentence

But Just for Fun , What is your Opinion ?

Me:76'-79' 930's @$25K to $35K (so long as they don't break while you own it)

    My Bets (Part 1). . .

Ferrari 550 Maranello --- NOT the 575 --- big, beautiful, fast, plush, special front-engined V12 you can actually work on yourself

Porsche 930 --- plain, no slopes, cabs, or boxed-rocker nonsense

Porsche 996 GT3 --- hands-down, THE performance bargain for the money, a genuine hand-built factory special, with no electronic nonsense

BMW e30 M3 --- the original, especially the Sport EVO and any Gr.A car

    Audi Ur-Quattro

    My Bets (Part 2). . .

    MBz '94-5 E320 Cabs --- the last of the over-engineered factory drop-tops

Meyers Manx --- especially any factory- or documented period-built cars

The S's (Esses) have gotten all the glory, but pick up the nice E's now......they are big bang for the buck. Really nice ones aren't given away, but will appreciate.....IMHO.....but I may be biased.

Doubt you will find an 89 Speedster for less than 50 large. Let me know if you do, I'll buy it.

    Looooong Shot . . .

A potential investment that masquerades as an actual car you can use. (Sort of.)

    Mercedes-Benz R63 AMG.

    2007

Because the world needed a 500HP mini-van about as badly as it needed a Cobra. Or a 275 GTB/4.

Hey, stupider things have happened. Does putting a V8 in a Sunbeam sound smart?

    5100 lbs, zero-to-60 in 4.6 sec . . . available by special-order only. Allegedly, only 30 ever made. (http://www.topgearage.com/?p=260)

"Hey, don't look now but my Mom's mini-van just waxed you Dad's 'Furrari's a$$! See ya at soccer practice . . . ya pansy!"
