Thanks Chuck. Unfortunately my Dad sold it back then but it is in great hands. Hopefully the chance to own it presents in the future.

Cannot believe I posted into that thread 10 years ago.
Here is my oldest daughter and I at 2020 Tour Auto with the 2.0 1968.
We did a stop in a very small village and had a "local" a pizza from a food truck .
It was so enjoyable to spend a week with my daughter in a car, so much laughing.

and did "La Coupe des Alpes 2021" with my youngest one.
Again, we had so much fun spending so much time together in a narrow space such as a car cockpit.
Both of my daughters love doing rallyes and track days, I hope it will last, at least souvenirs do.

How’s you get David Letterman to sit for a photo?

Looking good Men! Time is a funny thing ain’t it? My girls just turned 30 and 28 in the last two months. I’m taking them both to Luft and the youngest and I hit a local C&C most every Sat. The time together is so very precious.

Started building my Hot Rod when my daughter was 8, now at 18 she enjoys driving it and turned over the keys to her and promised me she will never ever let it go.

    Way back when...

Daughter (16yr) had just gotten her driving permit. She had learned to drive three pedals on Moms VW bug.

We were on our trip from Minneapolis to San Diego in 1985 and the first long distance driving trip with just her and me.

This was her first time driving the 1964 911 with the dog leg shift pattern. Had helped during the 2 1/2 year restoration so felt close to this car.

    Is she having fun.
