Thread: Kids & Cars

    Kids & Cars

We love our cars. And, we love our kids. My little boy has yet to make a connection with Porsches or any cars really for that matter... but, that hasn't stopped me from trying.
I take him for rides as often as I can and we watch F1, rally and vintage racing together. It's just a matter of time.

I've seen some great shots of 911s and children and I've met a lot of great Porsche folks in the last few years who are nuts about their kids.
I think this could be a nice thread.

    Damn cute kid Mark.

Don't have any of our own, but I'm subscribed because this should be good.

    Best,
    Mike

Some say his drool can dissolve anything... and that his whine will drown out any engine made. All we know is that he is called Aspiring Stig

    Kids, cars

Not a 911 but still a Porsche. I hope folks still enjoy my girls.

My son on the left with my nephew at CMP.

The trailer and straps were more interesting than the race cars on track.

When you've got a kid and a 911 -- who can resist? The first one is at Willow Springs; the others are in the garage.

It'll all be his one day.

I am glad my Dad started me early. From riding in the backseat of the '77 S to Monterey Historics with Mom and Dad to see Hans Stuck driving a 917.30 to watching Dad autocross to finally learning to drive the '71 hot rod and work on it, too. I was always into airplanes but the Porsches lured me in, with help from Dad. Now those two passions led me to study Mechanical Engineering and that is paying off in a much greater understanding of how the car works mechanically and of it maneuvering dynamics.
