Yellow 78 911sc targa from California? anybody knows this car?

Hi, I´m new to this forum and have a question.
Last year I bought a long time dream a 1978 911sc targa in California.
The car has been repainted (not very good) in hellgelb (bright yellow?) and has a light brown interior.
    The serienumber is #9118212222
The enginenumber is missing (replacement block?)
The trans has number #74G03139 and seems to be a rare Limited Slip differential

The car was last registered in Washington for about a year (according to the seller) but has no further history, also the speedometer was missing so I have no idea of exact milage of the car an engine.....
The car drives ok but I´m interested in finding more about the history of the car and his owners.

Bruno, as this site leans toward older cars (older than the SC, ie longhoods from 64-73) yo might find a little more joy over on Pelican by asking the same question
