Thru grill fog lights - what do I have hear & what's the value

    Hi,

New guy here trying to understand more on thru grill fog lights. I have a question on value of fog lights. What is the value of thru the grill fog lights with the factory grills, and mounting brackets. These would be off a 73 911. Condition of the fog lights is excellent, I can't say perfect, but very very nice. Grills are good, they shine up nice, but have minor pitting. The lense have Hella TN4 SAEF 70 along the edge are the numbers 2-112-129

I have been trying to find a fair vaule for these.

    Thanks

    Garold

I don't think they are for a 1973, as the grills would have been black. But they are for a long wheelbase 911 (1969-1972). Since they are fog lights and not driving lights and since the grills are pitted I would think $1.500.

Some clarification on the correct grill type for '73 would be appreiated. From my own research I've read that cars shipped from the factory with TTG lights had chrome grills, while dealer installed were black. Can anyone confirm or correct me on this?

Garold has a nice and complete set though!

Cars shipped from the factory with TTG lights in 1973 did have chrome horn grills. Black was a dealer option, but the dealer could put on chrome just as easily as black in 1973, the parts were quite obviously available. The black grills came in the retro fit kits for the LWB cars, the kit included all the parts to install the lights into the car including the switch (but no knob), wiring loom, relay, grills, lights, brackets etc.etc.

Very good then. That's what I thought.
So when is someone going to make some decent chrome replicas? I feel like I can hold out to find authentic affordable grilles.
