    FS: 2.2 Porsche Engine - 138 RWHP

I've parted out this engine and you can find all the bits and pieces here:

    http://forums.pelicanparts.com/porsc...dy-engine.html

For Sale - 2.2 liter Porsche 6 cylinder engine. Strong running engine, that has some modifications and is mostly complete. This engine will be
removed in a couple of weeks from a ’71 911T with 122k miles on the chassis. The engine is not original to the car and was a factory/dealer replacement engine due to the lack of a serial number. Actual mileage and age are unknown.

A chassis dyno run was just completed at PPI in Portland OR, and I was surprised by the results. This engine developed 138RWHP and 127FTLBS of torque at 6,000RPM and it was still pulling (see dyno chart and video below). The only verifiable modifications are porting work to the intake manifolds and cylinder head intake and exhaust ports. My guess is there are some other tweaks that would result in this HP figure. Maybe bigger valves and/or HP camshafts?

The oil pressure is very solid at 80-90PSI when at speed. The engine does emit a puff of smoke on deceleration, so it might just need the heads rebuilt with new valve guides. The case does not leak oil, but the cam covers leak and need new gaskets.

    Engine will include:
    Long block
    Carrera timing chain tensioners
    Weber 40IDA carbs
    Carb linkage
    Intake manifolds
Flywheel, clutch assembly and release bearing for a 911/01 “pull” transaxle setup
Bosch distributor with Pertronix electronic ignition module
    Pertronix Flame Thrower ignition coil
    Magnicore 8.5mm wires
    Turbo lower valve covers
    Fiberglass fan shroud
Fan and housing (not the powder coated parts pictured below)
    Alternator

    Engine will NOT include:
    Engine mounted oil cooler
    Exhaust heat exchangers and muffler
    Engine tin and engine mount
Carb rain shields and air filters
Heater tube ducts and sheet metal

    $4,900
