Proper mounting of swb (no rubber) front bumperettes

    Hi All,

I ordered a set of front bumperettes for my '66 911 and I was wondering if anyone had some close up images of the proper mounting. I do not think there are any holes in the current bumper (most likely replaced and repainted) and I want to make sure I get the location correct before putting any holes in any painted sheet metal. Also, is there any rubber beading that goes along the inner edge near the bumper on the early swb models?

I'm sure you can see from the backside of the bumper where the holes should be by the hole in the stamping where the bolts went through. There is a rubber profile strip that goes between the guard and the bumper. I don't have any pictures of this, but I can take some if you need me to.
