    Hemi Under Glass Vid

    Anybody else remember watching the wheelstanders in the 70's? This is a good vid with some GREAT period footage. Particularly when this guy goes for a ride in the thing! Interesting that the wheelstanders were not intended to be that. They were regular drag cars that couldn't be tamed.

    My first real exposure to cars came at the Atco dragway in NJ, early 60s. My father brought the family to see an employee's Dodge wheely PU.

    Hemi under glass

    I built that model when I was in the 7th grade...the older guyz ( my bro and his friends) would talk about seeing this car at the drags..
