Congratulations. I'm glad to see another E get the care and respect it deserves. Enjoy

Thanks all for the kind words!
I will post some more pics and details soon. This time of year is very busy for me.
I wish I had the time and writing skills to do as good a job as Long Ranger has done with his inspiring Ten Fifty-nine thread. Although my E is not of the same caliber as his S, my general approach to making a driver was similar.
I replaced what needed replacing and left all I could original.
I mentioned in the first post that Tony at Stuttgart did the MFI, and that he did, along with helping me buy the car, rebuild the transmission, buy new parts, and take the engine in out and in 4 times, and put the windows back in!
Oh yeah, and putting up with my newbee questions and constant pestering. Thanks Tony! Your guidance and expertise through the whole process is much appreciated.
OK, back to the races, be back soon!

The dash and speaker grill had the usual cracks. When we removed it for paint, it actually broke in half.
Tony said no problem and off it went to him.
Tony is a delightful man to talk to and did a fantastic job on the dash.
I'd prefer you talk costs with him, heres his contact info.
