SWB big caliper adapters - put S calipers or A calipers on your early car

The early struts have bolt on caliper mounts. This is a aftermarket fabricated caliper mount with 3.5" bolt spacing (the early ones are 3"). Change the brake disks to vented 69 and up style, add these adapters and you can put aluminum S calipers or cast iron A calipers on your early car.

$210 shipped in the cont. US

    Hi Mark,

My company were in the process of making these as we already make a rear upgrade kit for SWB cars, but now I have seen yours we need no longer continue. They look great and at a good price.

Alan, I am abandoning a route on a certain project so I am selling these. They were made by a friend of mine, simple design that works. The one thing that was never finished was a couple extra mounts for the backing plate. If you want to copy some of the design then I would be happy to send you some pictures and specs. I am not having more made so keep going on yours and fear no competition from me.

Although I wish my new shop was up and going so I could do more with manufacturing of good parts, some of you guys are making some great stuff. And Alan, that very rusty 2.2S that you are doing takes major skill, my hats off to you!

IIRC, these would also allow later turbo calipers to fit an SWB, too.

Hey everybody-- Why not just buy a complete SC front end suspension system and bolt it on the car? Now you have big brakes and new a arms etc. Chris

Cuz SC suspension and brakes suck balls. Under the body sway? Crappy SC brakes? No thanks. Gimme turbos or keep em stock...
