Best of France and Italy - This Sunday, 11/7

    Folks,

Which Porsche guy does not love the raspy twin cam of an Alfa Romeo or the mind boggling acceleration of a 2CV (0 - 60 in 2 days)?

The Best of France and Italy is upon us again this Sunday at Woodley Park (9am - 4pm) in Van Nuys, CA. See link for details and directions.

    http://www.franceanditaly.com/

This is quite a big event for those who love the more idiosyncratic type of cars. Of course, you will experience your favorite Alfa, but the real thrill usually comes from the more obscure and very fun participants like Abarth, Moretti, Lancia, Fiat, maybe the odd Cisitalia or Siata or Stanguellini.

On top of that, you will get your year's fix on Citroen, Peugeot, Facel, Renault, Matra, perhaps some Bugattis and God knows what else the crazy French did.

Hide your Porsche in the parking lot and enjoy something different. I will be there with the Junior Zagato.

    Mike

A couple of real GTA's...... I think there were 5 on the grass.

    - GTA Jr. as raced in South and Central America

    - Charlie Thieriot's old right hand street car/race car now owned by Anthony Rimicci.

Back in 1972 yours truly hand painting these graphics on Charlie's other GTA TransAm car and Anthony had them copied over to the white car...........
