    Amazing Bonham Heuer auction

    Some truely amazing Heuers going up for sale. Thankfully the sale is across the 'Pond' as I would be very tempted to do some serious bidding.

    This is the only know Siffert Autavia from it's original owner with it's original bill of sale in 1969, box, sticker and tags (Lot 94).

    Yes, Brian, Bonham's would be a dangerous place for you. I too, saw that Autavia's description...seems a bit of a lofty (trumped up?) claim though, don't you think? Do you suppose that they scoured the world in search for original owners and came up with just one? Better to have one with lots of patina anyway 'cuz then you could wear and enjoy it.

    Is it just me that thinks the estimates are way too high? The sale is ok but nothing spectacularly rare ..... It seems they are counting on the hype, which may not be enough!
