    Best way to test a coil

    I have come across a number of coils that I would like to restore and keep for a spare in the travel kit. My car is in pieces at the moment; is there an easy way to check coils or is the best way to run them for a while?

    spray with brake cleaner do not get in your eyes

    primary resistance 0.4-0.6 ohms
    secondary resistance 650-790 ohms

    15 or "A" is primary circuit
    4 is secondary circuit
