    Repro sunvisors 65/66

At the moment I am working on sun visors SWB year 65/66
since the production is fully in progress
I want to hear some reaction on the price !!! comming at the end

    here goes .

pic 1 you see on the left side the original, on right side my repro material I used doing the late vers 356 sunvisors

pic 2 I will do them complete incl the clips BUT they will be in metal, but special powder coated in beige color ( the plastic molds are really expensive to do ) and the difference will be small and the metal ones should hold tight for many years
( on the pic you see the 356 clips which was in chrome )

pic 3 showing original "clips" not sure of the name in englishh

Pic 4 showing my 356 sun visor on top of an original 911

the will be made / sold in pairs complete with 1 mirrow at pass. side

They are expensive , but I have not seen these any where, or am I wrong !
the quality will be top notch ,

Price will be 350-400 USD for a set
they are light and should not be expensive to ship approx 20 usd

We are cutting the material this moment
but I would like to hear how "big" the interest is , before I put the tooling away

the material pattern is made by our self and took alot of time doing and is very similar 95% :-)
I post a pic later on of the tools

No orders are taken this moment , just want to hear, if I am way of with this project

    Regards

    Marek

May be you can offer them w/o the clips (as well)? It are the sunvisors themselves that get shot, the clips usually can be found.

I have seen reproductions here in the states, but I believe the price was much more, what I see looks great. On another topic, what ever happened to the parcel shelf you were working on, I could sure use one.

    Marek,

You are producing some nice parts. I would be interested in at least one pair of sunvisors for my 901. Thanks.

Marek, I'd happily buy a set for my 65 if you made them.

Sure would be great if someone made quality visors for the 911/912 early cars.
