    215/60/15 on SWB

    I saw a 67 race car and it had 215/60/15 on the back without flares. You never here anybody on this site talk about these tires on a SWB car. probably the standard flares were rolled, but seems there is more to do to get these tires on the back. The fronts were 195/65. I have a set of these that were going to go on a LWB car, but now I have a SWB project ahead of me and the Fuchs 7&6 /15. They are P6000. Anybody know if this set up will work? Regards Chris Early S Reg.#205

    hi , its possible that the race car you saw had the Fuchs 15x7R rear wheels fitted , in which case the offset was 49mm , and just needed a spacer around 20mm to avoid fouling bolt on rear suspension arm while still fitting inside standard wheelarch .
