    vin help

    It is a 1968 912 coupe
    vin is 1280XXXX

    12= 912
    8= 1968
    0= S version coupe

    does this mean the 912 was ordered from factory the S calipers, S sway bars, S trim
    4.5 fuchs

    No, it is a 912. There is no E, L, S or T for a 912. It got 912 equipment options, not 911.
