    Question about 1970 Targa top vinyl

    I have been searching through a lot of the related threads, but couldn't really find what I was looking for: My 1970 targa top has what I believe is the original vinyl and it doesn't look like the typical "leather" grain material as often seen. Does anybody know where this or similar material is available. Please see the attached photo.

    Because the car was sitting in a Garage since 1983 and not driven for 25 years. The top has some small cracks at the folding points but it fits like a glove. All the gaps to the windows are perfect. But who knows, maybe it isn't original after all.

    Because I have a Targa as well, redid some tops, but never saw this material used on one...

    Even the 1970 911S Targa in the Porsche Museum has the leather grain type of vinyl. But then again, it also has a crest with red bars and a black grill on the engine lid.
