    I see they have a 1976 carrera RS for $175k. What is a 1976 RS?

    well there's no such thing as a 76RS as you'll likely know - however it does have a 73RS type engine in the impact bumper bodyshell - not a huge number of these around so they are getting more interest.....

    Actually the 123 versions of the 2.7 Euro Carrera produced in 1976 were homologated by Porsche as 'RS' models ...

    Yep, Andy is correct these Carreras are indeed homologated as an RS model and with so few made, they are a rare model.

    This particular one was talked about here a few years ago. It is VIN 9116609041 and has a factory replacement case maked with 'AT'. Love the seats in this one.

    Yeah, that car stopped my scrolling finger dead in its tracks (imagine squealing tires as a sound effect). I am a huge fan of plaid inserts on Porsche seats - that looks great.
