Here are two more photos. This is an original one for the passenger side that I’m not using. The fabric is corduroy and the back is the same as the carpet in a standard 911.

In rereading this thread there are some things I have learned since we first started talking about these neat old cars. 68S Rally cars do exist after all however all I have seen were built in 67. The T rally or T/R was the group 3 replacement for the 1968 season. If someone has a 1968 build S Rally that would be cool to see.

I just dug up a Road and Track article from 1968 that mentions that THREE of these cars were ordered from the Southern California Porsche Distributor at the same time, one for Alan Johnson to race for Don Burns, one for Vasek Polak and one for Don Pike. Only the Pike car is known. Does anyone have any leads on the Burns or Vasek cars??

To follow up on Rennman’s prior posts (page 13&15), and also on the beginning posts (page 2) inquiring about the Don Burns 911, the Don Burns 1968 911 has been identified (of course by Rennman), and it is a 68S Rally Kit 911 that was built in 1967.
