    Bowden tube support bracket??

Anyone have a solution for a worn out bowden tube support on the tranny of a '70?(see pic) I know VW have brackets you can buy http://www.appletreeauto.com/VW-TRAN...TUBE-BRACKETS/ but is there anything that's worked for 911's? I've got an old school guy that can make one but it's a little spendy. TIA

Haven't made the gearbox part yet but have the other end done.

I don't have a clamp bracket so if anyone has a worn out spare that I can use as a pattern I would be grateful.

    # Bowden tube support bracket??

We have steel bushings made that have a step that takes the bowden cable end, and then the other end goes in the worn out casting loop. The sleeve is then epoxied in the worn loop. The step keeps the bushing from from being forced through. This one is Name: IMG_1897.JPG

The was an artical in an old Pano on how to make a bracket for this. I did one ~15 years ago and it is still working fine. You should be able to search Pano's on the PCA site

Any chance of getting a pic of yours? Don't have access to old Pano's here. Anyone else have it?
