This looks to be an EXCELLENT example of the 996 MkII GT3...anyone serious about getting into one of these should be looking closer at this one.
I have no affiliation w/Brumos, etc. But I DO think the 996 Mk II GT3s are great cars. This example has steel brakes, and no foo-foo options on it, which are all a plus in my book.

    Cheers

    Low mileage = strong money.

996 GT3s can be had in varying condition from between $45K and 60K.

I'm not a big fan of silver (I'm partial to white and yellow), but I think this is a nice car. I'd like to see more detailed shots of the interior and underside (with and without belly pans).

You're selling the Turbo to buy one of these? That makes no sense. I've owned both. Keep the Turbo.

I disagree. While cool, the Turbo is pretty run-of-the-mill. And, Stacy, unlike your Turbo a stock 3.3L with a 4 speed is boring and uninspiring in daily-use scenarios; open road, long distance touring is where they really shine and, frankly, Gary doesn't do enough of that type of driving to really get the most out of the 930.

I say he'll get more utility out of the GT3 ... although I think Gary would be better off with a 997 GT3 rather than a 996.

I'll post some more pics, but this one is tip top condition all the around. With the 991 breaking ground next year, guys that normally keep their cherry cars are jockeying around to get one more 997 before the party is over. This silver GT3 was traded towards a '10 GT3 with under 2K miles, which was traded towards probably the last new Turbo S we will ever have.

With the factory CPO warranty this car has bumper to bumper coverage good at any Porsche dealer in the US or Canada for 2 years or up to 50,000 miles beyond current mileage. This includes factory roadside assistance too.

I "may" be interested in trading my GT3 for the right car. I am looking for an early 911. My GT3 is a 2004 White with PCCB brakes and about 13,000 miles. Purchased 2 years ago from a Vice President at a well known Silicon Valley corporation. I am the second owner. The car has never seen the track. It is pristine and a true gem. I really believe that the 996 GT3's will be the collector cars of the future.

I am not interested in selling her but for the right trade I might be tempted.....
