    Stubby's On The Truck

My '67 Bahama Yellow rally build that is familiar to many on this list is being loaded on the Intercity truck for transport to its new owner in New Hampshire. Tough goodbye.

In other news, the '68 SWT that was being restored was in such poor condition that, $28,000 later, it is being junked. I will be offering some parts here later, such as a set of Harvey done '68 specific 5.5" wheels, '68 specific sport seats, a decent 2.0 aluminum case engine, 5-speed transmission, bunch of panels, etc. I also have lots of through-the-grill lights and grilles and a lot of early 911 odds and ends as I am out of the hobby at this time. I'm devoting my time to building my new business - and I do get to drive my '91 964 C2 Coupe - nice thing I love 964's.

It's been great participating in this group. Maybe I'll be back at some time in the future if I happen to own another early 911.

    Happy New Year to everyone.

    Cheers,
    John Audette

    John,

I guess you sold the Signal Yello '72 T when I wasn't looking.

All the best in the new endeavor.

    John,

You, Stubby and your insightful contributions to this board will be missed.

Best of Luck in your new venture. If you go about building your new business the same way you looked after your early 911s, it can't help but flourish.

Cheers, and much success in the New Year

    say it aint so...

    John,
    This post was a shock!
I am sorry to hear about the SWT. That must be a sad story. Also, too bad you felt you had to sell Stubby.
I hope you check in here from time to time and add your perspective on things..it would be a shame to lose your experience and point of view.
Best wishes on the new venture.

Also, that car you just sold has been one of my favorites.
It certainly fanned the swb flames for me.
