    Question Correct Jack?

    Can anyone tell me which of these is the correct jack for my 1972 911 (9-71 Production Date)?

    correct jack

    Neither one is for a 70`s 911...here is a picture of the one you need. Others can let you know what you need by the numbers..You can see the difference here from what you have though....later 356 Porsche are similar to these shown.....Cliff

    The blue one is the correct jack, although I personally would not use it. They were very unstable and I had mine sink into the asphalt between Laredo and San Antonio one August day.

    Thanks guys. Not interested in ever using it, I simply want to include it with the rest of the correct accessories I have for the car. According to PET, the correct jack P/N for 1972 is 914.721.011.10, Unfortunately, there are no illustrations in this section of the parts manual which would help clarify.
