that seems a bit fishy. an NOS '69 S manual for $60? I'd expect 3 or 4 times that.

It's a factory reproduction- notice the black spiral instead of white.

That's absolutely NOT a reproduction.... as a matter of fact I think there's very few if any early 911 or 912 reproduction factory manuals.

I was there that day when MSRoadrace bought all of these from the Vasek Polak "going out of business" warehouse liquidation.

There was quite literally 2 pallets of NOS owners manuals. I got there too late, so I ended up buying quite a bit of stuff from MSRoadrace instead of directly from the Vasek Polak people.. though I did buy quite a bit from them as well.

I probably bought 200 or more owners manuals that day from MSroadrace, perhaps it was 300. I've got quite a few left, but I'm holding onto them for now.

I probably made a poor choice in my buying, should have bought more 911T manuals, vs 911S manuals, more later manuals than 69 manuals etc.

There's very few 69S's produced vs the number of NOS owners manuals for this car still instock with me, MSRoadrace, and a few other people who also bought them from MSRoadrace including Pelican. I think I've got a half dozen 69S manuals right now... happy to sell an NOS one to anyone here for the same price.

You'll find that the manual will have the correct date for the production of the manual,.. also a slight tint of age around the pages inside, can't reproduce that!!

There were a few other people on this board who also went to that sale... one was Chuck Miller, and I'm sure he remembers those pallets with literally thousands of NOS owners manuals...

    cheers,
    Eric

Thanks for the correction. I thought all of the original ones had white spiral binding and the later ones (with a different, newer date code) had black.

I have a '68 911 and a '68 911T manual and both have white spiral. Did this change for the '69 model year?

Just an interesting note... all of the 1969 manuals I have are black spiral bound,... then they go white again in 1970.
