I have been very happy with Michelin TB5s as a great all around street tire on 15 x 9s & 11s. I'm not sure if they are available for narrower rim sizes. It seems like Coker is the only consistent source for them and they are fairly pricey, but I would say worth the money for the performance and look.

I'm now using a Goodyear Eagle GT. I'm on 6's and 7's. The nice part is that they are among the few that are 'Z' rated. By the way I'm very pleased with them, quiet cruising, good stability, and very decent grip when on fast touring drives.

I'm on Bridgestone RE11's on 6&7 by16's. Very happy with them , very sticky and good in the rain.

Bridgestone RE960AS in 195/65 on 7s all around. Good combination of ride and grip for the street, also very good in the rain. Fills out the wheelwells so depending on ride height a little fender rolling may be needed.

    Toyo Proxes T1R, 225/50 x 15 and 205/55 x 15 on 8 & 7's. Sidewall pretty soft, dearly missing the Bridgestone Potenza S03's, those were unbeatable.

I had also tried the Toyo Proxes T1R, 225/50 x 15 and 205/55 x 15 on 8 & 7's - they were not that nice due to their soft sidewall as mentioned by Cees.

I have now tried the Hankooks R-S2 in the same sizes and they are that much better!
