    Porsche Script...Anyone ever seen such?

I posted this on Pelican as well and someone suggested maybe from a Porsche Tractor? Others think a one-off, made up script? I have not ever seen this script and curious if anyone knows what model/car this script would be from, if it is factory:

    Not even from a tractor.

Why does everyone think nowadays they find/found very special factory never discovered pieces?
Nothing in his post makes me think that he thinks he has something special.
    Why are you making assumptions?
It appears that he is asking a simple question.

Barwaut...I am simply curious about its origin. Pretty well made, not pieced together and seems like a lot of trouble for someone to make...Anyway, just curious. Thanks for the comments and all the best to you...

This is not the only forum this question has been posted on.

Wow! So much controversay and drama...

davep, if you will take note I certainly shared with the group that I posted this question on Pelican. I thought there might be someone on here on this forum that might not visit Pelican, therefore I posted. This is the "General Info" forum, is it not? I realize to you I am only a newbie with only 6 posts, but your and Barwuat's comments are out of line. I really do not understand the big deal. I am not looking to steal any trade secrets or make a million dollars off of the item but simply inquiring about the wierd script. Is everyone wound as tight as you?

I'm very sorry, but I did not mean any disrespect. I only tried to point out to Tom that one cannot only go by what is written in one post or forum. In your Pelican thread you wrote: "Thought by chace it might have come from an obscure, rare model with incredible racing pedigree, but maybe not". Barwaut probably based his comment off of that. I realize it was just 'tongue in cheek' and had a good laugh at that and some of the other comments.
You do often need to post on many forums to get the exposure to experts when researching an obscure item. I've joined over 10 forums in the past 10 years, partly as a means to learn more about my favorite subject.
To answer the original question: I've never seen that particular script before, but I'm no expert.

Thank you davep....It would just appear that things got waaaay blown out of proportion. You are correct, my comment on Pelican was certainly a tongue and cheek comment that was followed by the big, fat smiley face laughing. Anyway, I am moving on as I certainly did not mean to create this much drama with my original post. It is now officially "wall art" for the basement and nothing more...tks

FYI - this is not like other boards (i.e. Pelican, Rennlist). We do not insult, demean, or dress-down others. The majority of us are adults and we treat each other with adult respect, regardless. Enjoy your stay.

I was trying to think of where I had seen the script before, as something did look somewhat familiar, including the Tractor... but no luck. However, I dug a little deeper, and I found what I was looking for.. it's the very first script that was used on the Speedster. This pic was taken by Hal Thoms at the 2004 Speedsterfest (I was there with a 59A coupe),... no not the first pic, the second pic.

    Tell me what you think.

Hey Michael, thanks for the props, but one knee is a "little much" when a simple bow will do!

Oh and by the way.... we usually throw pretty good parties, but beware, we usually "mix" our drinks.. and sometimes it aint with the usual stuff!!!
