FS: DEPARTURE the book by Bob Tilton of Werk Crew

There are very few books remaining. I am not able to publicly post payment info as intended on Jan 17th due to possibly overselling the available quantity. Please contact me directly.

After over a year of long nights and endless weekends…my self-published art house book on the early Porsche culture is done. More pics at www.werkcrew.com.

I am extremely proud of the end result but deeply ashamed of my new drug habit. My name is Bob and I am a meth addict…but hey look what I did on drugs! All proceeds from the book will go towards rehab.

This project has been truly a labor of love about a unique culture.

    The details:

    - 225 limited-edition hardcover books – there will be no soft cover follow up version.

    - Each book will be signed, numbered and registered.

    - Handmade black cloth linen covers with black foil stamping by veteran artisan.

    - Post and screw style binding – much like a photo album.

    - Book measures 12.25 x 8 inches.

    - 130 full color pages on high quality stock.

    - PRINTED IN THE SAN FRANCISCO BAY AREA – USA!

REVISED: $85 plus $10 domestic media mail shipping and $26 first-class international. Shipping fees are padded to cover Paypal fees and shipping supplies. Please contact me if you want to order more than one book to adjust shipping prices. The Flat-Rate boxes become an option.

Please contact me directly to place order – bobt@werkcrew.com. TX!

Congratulations, Bob. I'm looking forward to receiving mine. I'm not asking because of any plans to sell the book later--because I don't see that happening--but I was wondering if members should decide now about cutting you back in on any profits in the future when it becomes a much sought after cult classic on the secondary market. I'd vote yes. Bill Morris

I think it would be pretty uncool to "resell" Bob's book for a higher price. I realize it's a free market, but I'm sure Bob made a great effort to make it reasonable for all. He could have made alot more on it.

Of course I'm saying this feeling lucky I was able to get one....

My hope was that there were retailers that may have bought extras for their customers/collectors, and I would expect that they would add a premium as it is sold out - just as long as the premium is reasonable. And Bob, if there are any orders that are somehow unpaid/canceled, then I will be honored to step up to the plate for 1.
