    Rookie accelerator pedal question

    Hi all-
Rookie question; I'm trying to remove the carpeting from the pedal assembly. Brake and clutch pedal pull through the upholstered holes in the carpet okay but accelerator pedal requires (as far as i can tell) either the linkage to be disconnected from the pedal or the pedal to be unbolted from the floor. Or am i missing something here?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Yep, just pop the rod out of the bottom of the throttle pedal. Pull hard.
