The Carmel Concours is THE Best. I have displayed and entered to be judged over the years. It is a First Class event, deserving of our support!!

I'm am considering going and entering for judging. I read the application and have a question. What is the definition of "original"?

In the past the cars are judged for overall looks, also Doug Freedman believes the cars should be driven, not just trailer queens.

Apparently, "only factory options or dealer-installed options will be considered as original". Restoration doesn't mean it ain't original.

Having been there and won,I think the judges tend to be a little lenient on what is correct from the factory or dealer installed.I think that the cars that were in my class,I had a 73E,were looked at as much subjectively as objectively. It is by far a fun event rather than being dinged for little stuff that might otherwise be judged more harshly at a different venue.Don`t stay home if you are a type "A" like me.Just go do it. There is something for everyone as these pics show.
