FS: 70-71 5 Bar Grille Excellent Cond. (Straight)

Selling this 70-71 911 5 Bar Grille. It is one of the straightest I have seen.I had it as a spare incase mine got bent on my 70 but I need engine work so I am parting with some of my extras to get cash.It has been media blasted so it is ready to be painted. The only imperfection I found was an excellent repair job to the mounting bolt shown in the picture.Other than that it is beautiful and you will not find one like this everyday.Price $500. Buyer pays actual shipping from Los Angeles 90035, and yes this will be boxed and packaged extremely well with insurance, tracking, signature confirmation-the works.Paypal accepted.Thanks,Speedracer901

Not trying to be clever, but I'm afraid that media blasting the grille was a big mistake.

These grilles were originally anodised - either bright ('70/'71) or dark grey/black ('72/'73) - & this one wil now require a lot of work to prepare it for re-anodising.

In my opinion, anyone contemplating using a painted grille is unlikely to spend $500 on one.

You can always find one that has been straightened or buy an nos for bigger $$$$.This one is more than half way done and if anyone wants it I usually am flexible. But it is harder and harder getting even a decent grille.
