Quick Interior Question

The CoA on my '73E lists the interior color as 'Black Leatherette/16'.

Would this option have included houndstooth, or would it be listed as an additional color/type?

Houndstooth would be listed as option -- although they used another term: Pepita cloth with corresponding option number

My understanding of code 16 in relation to interiors is that it signifies:
Black leatherette interior panels BUT genuine black leather seats with perforated black leather centres

in my view a rare and desireable combination.

for completeness code 13 would be black leatherette seats with pepita and code 18 would be genuine leather seats with pepita (both codes having black leatherette for the rest of the interior)
