considering what some outlaws in that quality range are going for, this one at Holy Grail is far less at 67,000.My favorite is Fred Veitch`s from Colo.Springs which is not for sale.

Or, you can buy the TLG 356 Outlaw - affectionately known as "Frank" - from me for $60,000.

A low ride height does not an Outlaw make; I'd say it's more Rat Rod than proper Outlaw.

When will Frank get a Polopolous motor? Those are pretty cool.

Rat Rod....Really?? As a card carrying member of the 356 Registry, let me assure you that it would be welcome in the "outlaw class" at any Registry event.

The 356 Registry would welcome it in the Outlaw Class because they welcome participation in their events ... and they should. Participation is what keeps things going.

Personally, I like the Rat Rod concept; but in my mind there's a significant distinction between what qualifies as an Outlaw and what doesn't. The car in question speaks to me from a Rat Rod/Cal Custom VW perspective as opposed to an Emory-inspired, pedal to the metal Outlaw ... one that goes as well as it shows.

I say it's quite the outlaw, and I've got 3 outlaw badges from previous cars through Emory. Emory's seen the car and to quote Gary it's "bitchin"....

I think it's bitchen, too, and it's nice to know that Gary and I have similar tastes in what's "bitchen".

But that doesn't change my opinion that this car isn't an outlaw.

Btw, do you still have the cars those badges came on? I'd like to see some shots of those compared to the Pre-A rat rod...
