    69 E auction worth watching

    http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1969-...ht_1724wt_1167

The numbers are getting higher. Given last week's auction results in AZ this car potentially would be a nice acquisition for a trader.......

Been for sale before.Maybe a year or so ago.The list is long on cars that have that over restored look,Curt, but once you get started and have deep pockets, where do you end.Look at the 69E SWT for sale here on the Board and a 356 at E.C. or cars at CPR.When there are very few truly original cars left in VG condition, this trend will continue as long as there is a market. That is,if there is a market left.Tom

This car has been on ebay at least 2 or 3 times. I thought it sold 6-8 months back in the high 60's.

Good work,Raj. A case in point is the 67 S SWT that Sloan has had forever at 150,000.It too has been restored to the" N"th degree and it has been sitting for years. If you deduct 39,000 for Sloan`s commission and then 20,000 for market conditions, then you can start to negotiate down from there on the "E".

$63,500 currently IMO is getting to market for an over-restored 69E despite Sloan's desires of I believe $100,000.....

$73,000. IMO, getting close to full value...... Hard to believe getting this type of action on EBay.

I'm apparently not the detail expert many of you guys are. I'll bite - What's wrong with the speaker grill? I only see one dashboard shot (the one with the award plaque) and the grill looks a lot like mine, which I am certain is original.
