A great new F-1 Technical site / blog

ran across this most interesting site on another marque forum.

    http://scarbsf1.wordpress.com/about/

More of a blog really, it was initiated and is maintained by an independent journalist, Craig Scarborough. He keeps it exclusively technical with his own clear, highly informative diagrams, sketches and explanations of WHAT, HOW and WHY teams do what they do with the cars and breaks the season down into individual races and how the technology changes from venue to venue. If a technical change is necessitated by a new / changed rule it's all explained in clear terms of the rules and the engineering.

It's free for the time being, but he does ask for paypal donations and is looking for a magazine / publishing connection.

The best part about it is that his site is entirely free of the fanboy, Nat'l Enquirer type of "he said, she said" tabloid garbage so prevalent on almost all other so-called Formula One sites. Very refreshing to find a site dedicated solely to the amazing technology employed these days in F-1, and discussed in intelligent, purely engineering terms.

If, after the catastrophic last few years of the Mosley era, you find your interest in F-1 wavering, this is the site that will rekindle your enthusiasm, or keep you intelligently informed on what's new technically.

    Highly recommended !!
