    Does the 2012 Beetle remind you of a 356A

    Not the early renderings or such, the actual car? Doesn't it?

    Just my opinion, but more PT Cruiser... I don't see even a vestige of 356 in this bloated thing. Roofline/side windows are just wrong, fender profiles not proportional, overall the car's too damn big besides ugly. Oprah already bought 275 of 'em to give away to her audience, probably a PR deal with VW. Another reason to view it with a gimlet eye, but that's just me.
