Question about the quality of H4 headlamps

I need to buy some H4 headlamps. Are the new ones supplied by Porsche still NOS (same as originals, made in Germany) or are they reproduction?

    Hi,

Porsche have not had NOS headlights for some time. Until recently Bosch still made them for Porsche, but now if you buy a new H4 it no longer has the Bosch script but does have the Porsche logo. Qaulity IMO is good but they are not as original.

I bought a set of new H4's and returned them. The rim was wavy and the chrome looked too bright. They were Czech made. Look for good or NOS German made H4's for OEM quality. By the way, I read- "made in China for Porsche AG" recently and had a sinking feeling

I just bought some new genuine Bosch H4s and the sticker on the back says "made in Czech republic" and they look good. A fellow Aus 901 owner bought some RHD Bosch H4s about 8 years ago and these are also Czech made and still look fine. Don't know how old the lights would need to be if you want German made. Not sure if Porsche ever used anything but Bosch made H4s but I suspect not.
