Wow Symbolic is still in business? lol. I am local and not affiliated, I could do a pre purchase if someone was seriously interested.

FWIW, Symbolic mentioned the car on Ferrarichat.com yesterday seeking value advice, then quickly indicated that it was sold with two back up bidders. I am amused to see that they have now listed it on eBay.

The clever wording about the engine makes me think the engine doesn't match the COA (which they claimed to have ordered in the previous ad).

I get someone dipping a car and doing a thorough repaint, and life changes can happen, but am I alone in thinking that people should repaint in the original color if they are likely to sell the car? I've made some pretty random color decisions, but those cars were never planned to sell (and haven't been).

I don't see how they sell any cars. They are rarely open and advertise that they are closed on weekends.

I'm impressed by how it went from having a "few small rust bubbles" in the door jambs, in 2009, to "no-rust, no accident ever" today.

eBay ad mentions originally Metallic Blue (334-9-3)...

Ferrari chat discusses Ossi Blue (which is code 319, I believe)...

    The plot thickens...

PS - I got a kick out of the Ferrari Chat comment by "Bullfighter". He said "seems like all early 911's get resprayed in silver in order to be less interesting". I thought all resprays were RED (like a commonly used color on a certain car brand whose name I won't mention!).
