    Recommend Rebuilt/Improve Engine Restoration

I have a 1968 911 that is nearly perfect and I would like to improve the engine to "S" spec. Original case and everything, just simply swap out parts so that the engine is like i said before "S" spec. I was wondering if any of you could recommend me or point me in the right direction as to where I should get this done by a specialist that is in the Great Lakes Region.
If there aren't any in the area, then I am open to any suggestions/thoughts. Thank you
    Evan

    Hi Evan,

One person who comes to mind is John Truman near Cleveland, OH. Long time Porsche mechanic and was once an engine builder at Stoddards. My good friend Dave (Cornpanzer) had John build a 2.8L SS motor. If you do a search you will see he has done engine work for others in the Midwest. I don't have any contact info but if you send Dave a PM, he can hook you up. Hope you get it done by this summer.
