    Southeast, Dixie Track day

    Vic Rola and I have decided to open this up to anyone on EarlyS with the hopes of getting this thing up and going. The response on the RGruppe forum has been so so. The date is quickly approaching and we would like to nail this event down soon.

    The Southeastern Chapter of RGruppe is considering offering a track day at the Talladega Grand Prix track outside of Anniston, Al. We are considering April 11th, 2011, a Monday. Are you interested?

    The price per driver would be $150.00, payable in advance, non-refundable. Five cars permitted on-track per session. The entry fee is all inclusive...you arrive and drive. Initial plans would be for Sunday to be the travel day, and we would secure a host hotel for lodging (Hampton Inn?). Monday would be the track day, allowing you reasonable track time, as we are limiting the event to twenty (20) entries. You would be required to have your vehicle safety inspected by a shop, and bring documentation of that service with you. Track personnel will work the facility for us, insurance is included, and you would be expected to being your own lunch for mid-day Monday.

    Due to the lack of interest we have decided to kill the track event. Hopefully Vic and I can get some other events planned in the near future.
