    Alu Rear Bumpers . . .

    . . . as advertised on Historika:

    http://www.historika.com/porsche-par...umpers/151.htm

Not mine --- but I love this kinda stuff. More exotic than plastic. Almost $800/pair plus shipping, so . . . not exactly cheap. (But that's a lot less than an engine cover!) And it still takes weight off the the right end of the car! Workmanship looks decent.

Awful pretty though. And, in the spirit of adding as much lightness as possible, very cool.

    My thoughts exactly.

Bumper brackets would be a nice addition ... but think of how much weight they'd add!!

    (Keep looking!)

    Better . . .

    http://www.historika.com/porsche-par...-Bonnet/61.htm

'Course --- you'll never let anybody touch that hood again.

And when that first newspaper/soccer ball/big bug goes bouncing off it --- you'll probably have an infarction! . . . .

Yea, I knew of those but my thoughts were that aluminum would be stronger and fit better. Have aluminum front hoods ever been produced?
