Thread: Anyone seen this gauge?

    Anyone seen this gauge?

This gauge looks correct. It is marked 12V and 10/66. I've never seen an amp gauge in a 911 and the oil pressure only goes up to 70.

I asked a couple of 911 and 356 people and none of us has seen one like this. Anyone know this gauge?

    Thanks,
    Alan

Looks like a custom NHS or PAS gauge for a client's specific requirement.
I would assume they open the gauge and change the internals then button it back together.
Definately not an original gauge Porsche though !

    Cheers,
    Dennis.

I would agree except that the pointers on the gauges are clearly old with the fine cracking that you see on an old gauge. The gauge is also dirty on the inside with dust sticking to the inside of the glass. How long have NH and PA been customizing gauges?

Thats the 912 optional gauge. Pretty rare.

Alan, I did see one on a customers car in 73 and the local speedo shop (United Speedo Riverside) put Amp or Volt in at that time, but never checked to see if one was original. See if maybe the part number for guage is there?
