door window trim help for longnoses please, what metal?

what metal was used for the side roll-up window surrounds on coupes over the early years? I thought the SWB cars used chromed steel while later LWB cars had anodised aluminum. looking to shave some more pounds from my SWB. ideally, was there a year that used aluminum frames and had opening vent windows? any help/input much appreciated, thanks, Don.

    For Coupes the breakdown was:

'65-'67 - chromed brass with opening quarterlights (vent windows)

'68 - anodised aluminium with opening quarterlights

'69-'73 anodised aluminium with fixed (non-opening) quarterlights
