Of course it's an insane price.. if it was a decent price I would have bought it! That's why I posted it. Yes, I've got a couple of these. I think I've seen a few trade hands for about half this price. But where you gonna find one? It's not like it's a toolkit... I'd guess that this is probably more than Edmund Harris gets for his. What Beru plug is that in yours?

Wow ! 5G's for a travel kit. What was the difference between the super and normal kits? Plugs? The red 356A travel kits were stamped SUPER on the bag; are these? I have an NOS blue kit for solex carbs, 1964 or 65. What's that worth? I once sold a totally original 356A 4cam tool kit with two of the small wrenches, one stamped one boxed, so it would be proper for a T1 orT2 car. I was offered 10G's and took it. As Eric said "where are you going to find one?". SS

The primary difference is in the plugs, at least when I found one to buy, I would look at the plug number to determine what car it was for. The E and S in later years appeared to be identical as the plugs were the same and they didn't seem to change the gaskets.

    The bags are not stamped.

The plugs in my 67S bag are Bosch W265 P21. They came wrapped in a very thin wax paper.

I acquired a few of these years ago from Barry Williams, and then acquired 3 more later (various years), I think I have a total of 6 or 7 right now (not for sale). A lot of inconsistencies across them, and they are all NOS except one. Some have loose gaskets, some boxed, a couple with shop towels others not. I'll try to lay them all out sometime to photo, but right now they are buried.

    Eric
