    Help with history of 1970S - UK/Australia

    Hi folks.

On the off chance someone can help...

I bought a 1970S last year which had been altered to turbo wide body and I am returning to original (see pics below).

The car was delivered in the UK in December 1969 in signal orange, registered CLK92H.

It most likely came to Australia before 1989 and probably before 1984 (from talking to UK DVLA and Australian Customs).

I have not a scrap of history. The car was sold on consignment and I can't contact previous owner. Wondering whether:

    - anyone happens to recognise the car either in original or widebody state?

    - is it possible to get the original Kardex - I got one for my 356 in 2003(?) but I understand they are not available any more?

The car still has the original engine and gearbox.

    Cheers

    Mitchell
