    Siezed clutch

My 73S has been sitting a long time in a dry, mild temperature garage with a battery maintainer. I finally got around to fixing some things on it and started it up today. It started easily in neutral but I can't get it into gear. I assume the friction disc is "frozen" to the fly wheel. I've had this happen before over the years but I've always been able to break it loose by starting it in gear. It won't work this time.
    Suggestions?

get it warm so it starts well, clear the way in front of you for 100 ft or so, shut it off, put it in 2nd, clutch pedal to the floor and keep it there, start car and as it gets rolling, go on and off the throttle a few times until it breaks loose.

Thanks for the info. I was able to get help pushing the car out into the drive way. I had to deal with a slight upgrade so I couldn't get it to start in second. It finally started in first. I went about 150 yards up a steep hill before it broke loose. Works fine now.
