    Heinzmann Extinguisher Bottle.......it's finally done!

It's been 3 years since I first posted trying to find an original Heinzmann fire extinguisher bottle and two years since I
decided to try and commission a working one to be made..........and at last it's finished!!!

With the fantastic help of Lifeline here in the UK we have made a fully working re-creation of the iconic system, fitted
into RSR's in 1973 amongst others.

The webbing straps, fixing brackets, decal set and the checker plate cover all come together with the actual bottle to
make this something I'm really thrilled with, we even managed to fabricate the 'nipple' on the end of bottle and re-create
the offset single weld, a couple of unique features of the original. The modern trigger mechanism even seems to suit it,
but under the cover of course you don't even see it.

This is the first one completed, only just got my hands on it as it's been pressure and leak tested over the past few
months so just wanted to share it with you! Finally just to say thanks to one or two forum members here who helped
with dimensions and detail pictures, couldn't have done it without you.

    Mike:

It's a nice piece of work for sure. Your amazing quest for details on features from 38 years ago separates you from most of us mere mortals. Are you going to bring the Martini #107 to America one day? Many want to see it.

Wow, that's beautiful. I'd have it on the fireplace mantle for a while just to admire it. Well, at least until my wife would put it on my workbench in the garage! Well done Mike!!
