    Happy birthday to me ...

The 1st March 2011 is the 40th birthday for my 911S.

After going through several owners,it was sold through Nick Faure and brought to Australia in February 1979.
It passed through several Queensland owners, then to Melbourne and finally to me in October 2003.
I had extensive bodywork done in mid 2006 and sometimes I believe the car is in better shape than the driver.

Bob was in New Zealand looking at 4 cam Carrera motors and came over for the weekend.
I have always wondered if in the next pic from Charlie White's '71 factory tour book,if the shell in the foreground is mine.February production,RHD,sunroof ...
Ah well, something to ponder over for the next 40 years.

    Cheers,
    Dennis.

    1971 2.2 911 S - now back in the UK - sob!
1975 Carrera Targa (ROW) - missed.
